Two Truths and a Lie Linky!!

So I couldn't help but join in on this very fun get to know you game!!  I LOVE playing this with the kids at the beginning of the year.  I tell them its the only day this year where they are allowed to LIE to the teacher!!  Haha.  And the lies they come up with for the game are hilarious to boot!!  So - here I go!!!

#1 - I have witnessed a bank robbery.  I was 10 year old and my mother and I were in line at the bank in a Marsh supermarket.  The guy in front of us had a cloth bag in his hand.  When it was his turn - he robbed the bank at gunpoint!  He ran out of the market and my mom then ran after him!  She ended up getting his license plate number and gave it to the police.  They captured him and the money hours later :)

#2 - When I was in college, I took one summer and studied overseas in Spain.  My minor was spanish so I combined my love for teaching and spanish and did a study abroad in Madrid.  It was the most beautiful place I had ever been to!!  The food, the culture, and the amazing people make Madrid one of the best places to visit!  I learned so much about teaching and the differences between the U.S. and Spain when it comes to education.  My best friend at the time was in the same program.  He loved Madrid so much he ended up moving back when he graduated!

#3 - I danced for 20 years (since I was 3 until 23).  My high school dance team was so good - we made it to finals in Orlando, Florida and were on ESPN!!  I went to minor in dance in college, but was in a bad car accident that hurt my back.  I had to quit my class I was in and ended up not getting back into it. :(

Ok - there you go!!  If you can guess the lie I will send you my Part of Speech Swipe game for FREE!!  Just post your guess and your E-MAIL in the comments.  I'll secretly send you the game if you guess the lie.  This offer ends Friday at midnight!  Want to join the linky?  Click the picture at the top to head over to Flying into First Grade!  Now, I'm off to guess other people's lies!  Have fun!

  3. Well, I think #3 is the lie, too. I certainly hope you didn't have a car accident that hurt your back! :)

  4. I think #3 is the lie. I'd explain my reasoning but I don't want to spoil other people's ideas...although I seem to recall you writing something about #1 before but I'm not totally sure. It's so fun to guess which is the lie!

  6. I'll be different and say #2, only because no one has guessed that yet. = ) My husband is Irish and spent summers in Spain growing up. He talks about it all the time. Maybe that isn't sounding like such a great guess after all!
